After Registering For Class Follow The Steps Below

In Preparation for the class, you will need to follow the steps below, so you are able to attend the training:

2. Schedule 15-30 minute Zoom Meeting:

Schedule 15-30 minute Zoom meeting with me to make sure your camera is on and working, the microphone is working, to discuss how to ask questions throughout the class, equipment to have available for use during the class, etc.

Class Schedules

Pre – Course Meeting:

  • Schedule a 15-30 minute Zoom meeting with Palmer Associates
  1. Make sure Video capability is working
  2. Make sure volume works properly
  3. Make sure students understand how to ask questions during Zoom presentation
  • Discuss equipment that must be available during the two day class
  1. Must have spirometer
  2. Printer
  3. Computer
  4. Syringe – adapter
  5. Mouthpieces and filters
  6. Face shield – N95 filtering facepiece
  • Discuss paperwork that needs to be printed before class begins
  1. Script
  2. Manual Calculation graph exercise
  3. Temperature chart
  4. Prescreen questionnaire
  5. NHANES 111 lookup charts
  • Confirm that student have downloaded the manual and that it will be available during the training (print manual out or have manual minimized on computer so there is access to it)

     

  • Confirm that la “test” subject is available for the practicum sessions

  • Calibration and calibration practicum – 11:00 AM

  • Quality Control – 1:00PM
  • How to Perform Test – 2:00 PM
  • Break – 5 minutes – 2:55 PM
  • Practicum Session – 3:00 PM
  • End of Day 1 – 5:00 PM
